International Rally of the Lakes
This prestigious event takes place every year on the May Bank Holiday weekend and its HQ, since the very beginning, has been the Gleneagle Hotel. This 2 Day Tarmac Rally sees competitors from home & abroad flocking to Killarney to take part in either the event.
Killarney Historic Stages Rally
In 1996, a Killarney & District Motor Club member saw a niche in the market for a Tarmac Rally solely devoted to Historic, Post Historic and Classic Cars. Since then, the rally has gone from strength to strength and is now a fierce contender for the event of the year and provides two great days of hard, challenging rallying. This event takes place annually on the first weekend in December.
Killarney Forestry Stages Rally
A one day event which takes place in the extensive forestries of the region and provides a great one day event on a loose terrain. This event takes place annually on the first Sunday in September.
Loose Surface Autocross
Killarney & District Motor Club organises 3 Loose Surface Autocrosses per year and these provide a way for newcomers to the world of Motorsport to get involved at a reasonably economical level. Consisting of two or three timed runs, usually around a gravel pit, competitors compete against the clock and each other for the fastest time of the day.
Grass Surface Autocross
One 2-Day Grass Autocross takes place on the August bank holiday weekend each year. Another great way for everyone to get involved and learn more about the sport.
